How to have more free time


This is why you feel like your life is passing you by and time is moving too fast.

You're spending most of your time on autopilot doing all sorts of shit you don’t want to do!


How do you stop doing all the things you don't want to do, but have to do? In short, you don't do them.


I know that's a frustrating answer, and I won't leave you hanging there! I got practical solutions below.


So far this month how many time have you said:

  • I don’t have time for that in my schedule,

  • There's never enough time!,

  • I don’t have time to do the things I actually want to do...


In this short article you'll learn how to sustainably and practically create more time and clear your schedule of the shit you don't want to do.


Why do I need more time?

More time means more time in your day for YOU. Time for the things you actually want to do; to rest, or to create the life you want. Not having the time might just the only excuse that’s keeping you from building the life you actually LOVE! Isn’t it worth it to claim some pockets of time just for you?


With more time you can create just about anything in life. Time and the energy (to make the most of time) are our two most valuable resources.


SO, how do you create more time?


Time is a physical-world construct which means that linear time is an illusion!


But it's an illusion we humans need to manage as we live our human lives.


Where time-illusion comes in handy is when you’d like to stretch time, change your past, and access information from your future. You can try playing with time - but that's a post for another time.


For the occasions when you want to create more time in the physical world, what can you do?


You create time by clearing space in your schedule.


When’s the last time you did a schedule audit?


Have you ever stopped to question how you spend your time?


I’m willing to bet that there are at least 2 things you spend your timing doing each week that:

a) Takes you way too long

b) You don’t enjoy doing

c) Are completely unnecessary.


We tend to fill our schedules with all sorts of “should’s” because we feel obligated to do things we don’t really want to do. Can you relate?


Before you click away and mumble "yeah. it would be really nice but unfortunately some of us actually have responsibilities". Please stick around because I have a solution for you.


Don't get me wrong, I know life gets complicated with kids, and spouses, and work, but there is a lot you will find that is not necessary, or even efficient in your schedule if you really look.


This is not a challenge to hustle or to book yourself silly using all of your downtime to grind. Quite the opposite. This is an invitation to grant yourself the permission to choose your needs over others, for a change.


In order to create more time in your schedule you need to be ruthless with your time. I'm excited are you ready? If you think you can push this off consider this...


How you spend your time, is how you spend your life.


Consider the last 10 days:

  • How did you spend them?

  • Were you satisfied with how you spent your time?

  • How did you feel most of the time?

  • What were some excuses that came up as to why you didn’t do what you wanted?

  • If the rest of your life looked like the last 10 days, 30 days, 365 days would you be satisfied?

I think we get so mental around our birthdays, or new years eve because those events are moments we mark as milestones and we check in on our lives. Most of the time you’re just too busy to check in! But today's the day!
